Abu Dhabi Crown prince receives Somali president

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has expressed hope that Somalia will witness peace, stability and national unity for further development and progress to the people of Somalia. This came as he received here today President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud of Somalia, currently on a visit to the UAE. Sheikh Mohamed welcomed President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud and discussed with him ways of enhancing bilateral relations, as well as the latest developments and issues of mutual interest. On his part, President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud praised the humanitarian efforts made by the UAE and its firm stand by the people of Somalia.
