Activist: US militarism, expansionism source of Americans\' wrath

American analyst David Swanson said the US militarism and expansionist policies are the source of anger of the American nation and people of other world countries. In an article published in Malaysia’s International Justice Movement website on Monday, he said the public protests in the US have speed up the trend of its collapse. He said the presence of the US military forces in many world countries has caused their nations to develop very bad pictures of the US. This in itself, he said, could bring the US down to its knees in the world arena. Swanson further stressed that a movement was being formed across the world and inside the US in particular against the US military bases. According to the analyst, the movement calls for end to wars, return of US forces to their homes and cutting war expenses.
