
Caretaker Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Adnan Mansour, on Thursday evening left Beirut, heading to Morocco on a few-day visit where he will participate in the "Quds Committee" Conference.The Conference was called forth to convene in its 20th session by Moroccan King Mohammed VI under his chairmanship, in his capacity as head of the Quds Committee affiliated to the Islamic Cooperation Organization.Minister Mansour pointed out that Lebanon is a member of the Quds Committee which is made up of several Arab countries."This conference comes in the wake of the recent developments in the occupied territories, especially in East Quds," Minister Mansour said at the airport prior to his departure to Marrakech, stressing the importance of the holding of this conference to counter the repercussions of Israeli actions on the entire Middle East region and its stability.In reply to a question, Mansour said that rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia benefits the security and stability of the region as a whole and contributes to finding solutions to the region's crises.
