Air defence command receives air defence system

Air Defence Command celebrated receiving a modern updated rocket system for the air defence that enters into the service for the first time to consolidate air defence in facing foreign aggression. A statement issued on Sunday, Sep. 15, by the Ministry of Defence said that this step comes as part to complete the sir defence capabilities, which consists of a defence system, radars and jamming transmitters, to enable work actively. The celebration attended by Chairman of Parliamentary Security and Defence Committee, Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, his Operations Assistant and commander of Air Defence. The statement did not specify the system\'s origin or its type.
