Al-Bashir acquainted implementating east Sudan peace agreement

President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, was acquainted with progress of the implementation of the East Sudan Peace Agreement with its political, security and economic chapters. This came during his receiving in his office at the Republican Palace Sunday with Assistant of the President of the Republic. Musa Mohammed Ahmed. President Al-Bashir affirmed the government keenness to provide the required finance for the Sports City via the Ministry of Finance. In a statement following the meeting, the Assistant of the President noted that he discussed with President Al-Bashir the recently signed agreement between Khartoum and Juba and the role of the political forces to support its implementation on the ground.
