
Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir held talks on Monday evening with his visiting Chadian Counterpart Idriss Deby. According to Sudan News Agency (SUNA), the two sides discussed progress of bilateral relations and means of consolidating them, horizons of cooperation between Sudan and Chad in all fields, implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur and regional issues of mutual concern. The Chadian President arrived in Khartoum on Monday in a two-day visit to Sudan. The Sudanese State Minister at the Ministry of Information Yasser Yousif said in a press statement that the visit is coming in an important timing concerning the political and security cooperation between Khartoum and Ndjamena, noting that President Deby has played a great role for realizing stability in Darfur.
