President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has affirmed Sudan keenness to consolidate further its relations in the political and economic fields with the Arab Republic of Egypt, appreciating the firm historic ties between the two sister nations. This came when he received Thursday in his office at the Council of Ministers\' Secretariat General the visiting delegation of leaders of the Egyptian Freedom and Justice Party, headed by the party\'s leader, Dr. Mohamed Saad Al-Katatni. In a statement to the press after the meeting, Dr. Al-Katatni said that President Al-Bashir affirmed that the joint border between Sudan and Egypt will be dedicated for exchange of benefits. He quoted President Al-Bashir as affirming Sudan welcome to the Egyptian businessmen investments and businessmen. Dr. Al-Katatni said that the development projects agreed upon between Sudan and Egypt, top of them is the land highway between the two countries, will implemented in the set times. Meanwhile, the leader of the Freedom and Justice Party pointed to a visit that would be paid to Sudan by the President of Egypt, Mohamed Mursi, in early next April.
