Al Murr, Al Daqbasi discuss cooperation mechanisms

The Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC) Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, has received at the General Secretariat\'s headquarters in Dubai Arab Parliament Speaker Ali Salem Al Daqbasi. Al Daqbasi is officially visiting the country to get firsthand account of the technical parliamentary experience in the UAE. He will also call on the FNC to contribute to preparing executive laws of the Arab Parliament. Al Murr said the role of Arab Parliament is essential for stability and prosperity of Arab countries amid the changes being experienced by the Arab world. He called for establishing true constitutional systems based on justice, freedom, popular consensus and heeding public opinion, addressing the youth issues, and developing a vision and a clear strategy for future. The Arab Parliament Speaker commended the FNC\'s successful participations in the Gulf, Arab, Islamic and international parliamentary forums.
