Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Monday laid out his government's priorities and reform plans for the coming year, saying 2014 will be a "year of renaissance." Radical reforms will be implemented in all important sectors, including rural development, law and order, foreign policy and state asset management, Rama said at a year-end press conference. A top priority will be judicial reform, said the prime minister, adding that "Albanians demand justice" and the government will respond to the request of the citizens. Regarding Albania's foreign policy, Rama said his government will adopt a new constructive policy that matches Albanians' aspirations. Meanwhile, he said a national coastline agency will be established soon to take care of the Albanian coastline.
