Algeria on Saturday condemned the car bomb attack that targeted a military convoy in the Turkish city of Kayseri.
Spokesperson of the foreign ministry, Abdelaziz Benali Cherif, extended condolences to the "government and the brotherly people of Turkey," and assured them "support and solidarity in this ordeal," APS News Agency reported.
He urged the international community to double efforts in a bid to defeat terrorism which remains as serious threat to international peace and security.
A car bomb killed as many as 13 soldiers when their convoy was hit earlier on Saturday in the central city of Kayseri, local media reported.
This attack follows a series of bombings which hit Turkey in the past year, as the government blames Kurdish separatist militants for orchestrating them.
