
Algeria strongly condemns the car bomb attack Thursday in the southern suburbs of Beirut and reiterates in this painful time, its strong commitment to the stability of Lebanon, Amar Belani spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said."Algeria strongly condemns the car bomb attack Thursday in the southern suburbs of Beirut. We reaffirm our full solidarity with the Government and the brotherly Lebanese people and we offer our condolences to the families of the victims," said Belani said in a statement to APS."With the alarming recurrence of terrorism acts that we condemn in the strongest terms, Algeria reiterated its strong commitment to the stability of Lebanon and called on all Lebanese to work to preserve the unity and national cohesion and strengthening the foundations of security and civil peace in this brotherly country," he added.The car bomb attack perpetrated on Thursday in the southern suburbs of Beirut killed five (5) and injured over twenty people, according to a toll issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
