Speaker of the Algerian People\'s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament), Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa warned Saturday political and civil parties in the country not to be drawn to changes through the so-called revolutions of the Arab Spring. Ould Khelifa made his remarks in a statement on the sidelines of his participation in the regular session. Ould Khelifa said that Algeria has witnessed a number of experiences, some were positive and others negative, and does not need to import new ones like the so-called spring revolution. On a different issue, the Speaker said his country is facing an undisclosed war due to the amount of drugs coming through the borders. Ould Khelifa added that the amount of illegal drugs invading their borders is similar to an announced war on the people. Earlier, Algerian authorities announced since the first half of this year 50 tons of illegal drugs were seized.
