All eight prison inmates who escaped from a hospital in Weatherford, Okla., and took off in a van Tuesday afternoon were recaptured, authorities said. The hunt for the fugitive prisoners concluded with the arrest of Michael Coleman and Lester Burns, KFOR-TV reported. Police told the Oklahoma City TV station the two men were located in the back yard of a Weatherford residence. The TV station said authorities had recovered the Prisoner Transportation Services of America van used in the escape in a nearby mobile home park, along with a shotgun that was inside the vehicle. Police said the private company, based in Nashville, was driving the inmates through Oklahoma when one of the inmates got sick, leading to the stop at the Weatherford hospital. The identities of the six other prisoners involved, and the reasons the eight were incarcerated, were not released, KFOR-TV said.
