An alleged soccer hooligan accused of fatally stabbing the father of a fan from a rival team in Bogota was arrested Saturday, police said. Millonarios fan Carlos Andres Moreno, known as \"Toledo,\" was taken into custody in Flandes in the Sept. 21 slaying of Pedro Contreras, a 66-year-old retired army sergeant, Colombia Reports said. \"The capture of Toledo is a clear message to violent fans,\" Bogota police Chief Rodolfo Palomino said in a post on Twitter. \"Sooner or later those who commit crimes... will pay.\" Authorities say Contreras was waiting in his car when he saw his 19-year-old son being beaten up by a gang of Millonarios fans because he was wearing the red jersey of the club\'s rival, Santa Fe. Contreras got out of his car to help his son and was fatally stabbed in the chest, allegedly by Toledo.
