Analyst: US has totally failed in confronting Iran nuclear program

Brazilian journalist Pepe Escobar said the US and other western countries have totally failed in confronting Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. In an article published in the website of Malaysia’s Islamic Party, he stressed that the West has to suggest practical and real proposals to Iran rather than sanctions and threats. He wrote that Iranians were well aware of the threats that big nuclear arsenals belonging to the US and Israeli regime pose to the world so they are working against it. He further stressed that Iran\'s nuclear activities are based on peaceful purposes. He reiterated that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has repeatedly reiterated that Islam forbids development and use of nuclear arms. The Brazilian journalist said since the Iranian nation is a victim of chemical weapons it is well aware of the dangers and consequences of the using and keeping such weapons more than any other nation in the world.
