Another member of the Bush family may be preparing to test the political waters, filing the first round of paperwork needed in a campaign. George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and nephew of former President George W. Bush, filed an \"appointment of a campaign treasurer\" with the Texas Ethics Commission, The New Republic reported. It was not immediately determined in what office the younger Bush was interested. The Dallas Morning News said Thursday efforts to contact Bush, who co-founded Hispanic Republicans of Texas, were unsuccessful. The New Republic report included a Twitter post by Ana Navarro, the national Hispanic co-chairwoman for 2008 GOP presidential candidate John McCain. Her post said there has been \"speculation that the younger Bush, who lives in Fort Worth and runs the consulting firm St. Augustine Partners, would get into the family business. And Bush, whose mother was born in Mexico, hinted last month at an event in South Texas that it might be sooner rather than later.\"
