April 6 Movement marks fifth anniversary Saturday

Egypt\'s April 6 Youth Movement marks its 5th anniversary on Saturday by a serial of activities under the slogan \"We Want Our Dream . Thousands of members of two fronts of the movement and it\'s under construction party are going to participate in the activities that will mark the 5th anniversary of the Movement that was established in the aftermath of the 6 April 2008 strike by textile workers in the industrial city of Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra to demand higher wages and better work conditions. The Movement took part of the January revolution that ousted Hosni Mubarak in 2011. Later the Movement was divided into two fronts, the Ahmed Maher Front and the Democratic Front. Four major marches are scheduled for Cairo on Saturday. Marches will set out from Mohandeseen district\'s Mostafa Mahmoud Square, Dawaran Shubra Square in the Shubra district, central Cairo\'s Sayyeda Zeinab Mosque, and Giza\'s working class district of Imbaba. Additional rallies are expected on Saturday in other governorates across the country, including Mahalla. The Democratic Front called Saturday\'s protests as the \"6th Start\". \"Still the demands of our start are not achieved as Egyptians are still vying for democracy, justice, social justice and the rule of law,\" they said.
