Arab League urges pacification in Egypt

The Arab League has called on all the political parties in Egypt to work for pacification and maintenance of people’s peace to take the country through the democratic transition in accordance with the free will of the Egyptian people. In a statement released here on Sunday, Arab League general secretariat has expressed deep concern and regret over the death of a number of victims during the recent clashes in Cairo and other cities across Egypt and offered condolences to the families of the victims. The Arab League, also, urged all the parties to exercise utmost self -restraint and called on the media for accuracy and objectivity.
