
Arab and Western countries have condemned the explosions that rocked the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Friday killing and wounding innocent civilians.Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the "cowardly terrorist explosions" that killed innocent people. "These explosions target the security and stablity of Egypt, and are a desperate attempt by a criminal group to undermine its national unity," a foreign ministry source was quoted by the official news agency as saying.Algerian Foreign Minister Ammar Belani also condemned the blasts which killed at least five people and injuring dozens others.He expressed solidarity with the Egyptian people towards the restoration of security and stability nationwide.GCC Secretary General Abdulateef Al-Zayani strongly condemned the "criminal" attacks.He said in a statement these explosions were in complete breach of the "humanitarian principles and values." Al-Zayani rejected all forms of violence and chaos, which aimed at destabilizing Egypt in this critical phase.France also condemned the four blasts in Cairo, and extended condolences for the families of the victims.The Foreign Ministry called on the Egyptian people to unite against these acts.Spain strongly condemned the terrorist explosions in Cairo, and extended full solidarity with the Egyptian people. The Foreign Ministry said it would support the establishment of a democratic system that would guarantee peaceful co-existence with full respect of rights and freedom.
