
The Syrian army targeted and destroyed one of the biggest commander centers of a militant faction in Daraa countryside in the Southern parts of the country. The Syrian air force pounded several bases and concentration camps of the rebel Al-Mosana Al-Islamieh Movement and several more bases of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Daraa Al-Balad town in Daraa countryside, FNA dispatches said Tuesday. Tens of terrorists have been killed and dozens more injured during Syrian air force airstrikes on Daraa Al-Balad. FNA reports said one of the main command centers and bases of the rebel movement was destroyed in Al-Mokhayyem region in Daraa Al-Balad during the Syrian Army air raid. On Monday, the Syrian army continued its advances in Daraa countryside. The army units engaged in fierce clashes with militants in Al-Sheikh Maskin in Daraa countryside yesterday. The Syrian air force also pounded several positions of militants in the Western and Northern parts of Al-Sheikh Maskin town. Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians. Tens of thousands of people have been killed since terrorist and armed groups turned protest rallies into armed clashes. The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
