Ashton looks forward to meeting new Iranian team on nuclear issue

EU high Representative Catherine Ashton met here Tuesday Political Directors of the EU3+3 (France, Germany, UK plus China, Russia and the US) to discuss the Iranian nuclear issues. \"I\'m very pleased today together with the EU Political Director to host the Political Directors of the EU3+3. We met to consider a position and to look at how best we can move forward and try to find a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear issue,\" she said in press statements after the meeting. \" Of course we wait now for the team to be appointed by Iran, we very much hope that will be soon and we look forward to meeting with them as soon as possible,\" she added. The new-elected Iranian President Hassan Rohani is expected to be sworn in on the 4th of August.
