Asima governor on current visit to Armenia

Governor of Al-Asima Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah is currently visiting Armenia for talks on cementing mutual cooperation and bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Armenia. Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber started the visit, late on Wednesday, and arrived at Zvartnots International Airport, where he and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Bassam Al-Qabandi, Kuwaiti and Armenian diplomats. In an arrival statement, Sheikh Ali expressed gratitude to the mayor for his invitation to visit the country and expressed hope his mission would be crowned with establishment of "real partnerships to boost the bilateral ties and cooperation as well as expertise exchange between the two sides." Following the welcome ceremony at Zvartnots airport, Mayor Margaryan and Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber visited the monument symbolizing Armenian-Arab friendship.
