Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani says `Velayat-e Faqih’ (Guardianship of jurisprudence) is a necessity in society to break deadlocks. Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon in Tehran University campus, Ayatollah Kashani elaborated on the need for Velayat-e Faqih, saying sometimes, when there is no law for certain issue, Velayat-e Faqih presents his view. In certain cases, Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei comments based on Islam and Islamic regulations, he added. Somewhere in his sermon, Ayatollah Kashani touched on the US’ government’s recent scenario on Iran, saying the US’ story on Iran and its terror scenario are all fabrications and lie. He said, “Islam opposes terror; our school of thought is not the school of terror. The US tries to lay off the blame to divert the world public opinion from the problems it has caused.”
