Bahrain hosts professional liability insurance seminar next October

The Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA) organizes the Professional Liability Insurance Seminar in association with the Arab General Federation for Insurance in the period 21-22 October 2013. Al-Ayam daily newspaper reported that the two-days\' seminar will be organized under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) in the period 21-22 October 2013 at the Ritz Carlton in the Kingdom of Bahrain with participation of more than 300 insurance business leaders and operators of insurance and re-insurance firms from the GCC and Arab countries that are members of the General Arab Insurance Federation \"GAIF\" and from North Africa. The seminar will discuss the region\'s needs and requirements for professional liability insurance and its definition. Discussion will focus on the insurance of civil liability in the construction sector, professional liability of engineers and architects, professional liability of insurance brokers, professional liability for medical errors, liability of managers of banks and financial institutions and liability of carriers towards their clients.
