The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa received a telephone call from the Minister of External Affairs of India, Sushma Swaraj.
During the conversation, they reviewed the excellent relations in all fields between the two friendly countries and peoples in addition to the latest developments in the region.
Shaikh Khalid affirmed the importance of bilateral ties and continued multi-field consultations and noted that combating terrorism tops all priorities and necessitates joint concerted efforts.
He also emphasized that all sides should not spare a single effort to eliminate this epidemics that threatens all countries and ought to stand up together to all terrorist organizations and those supporting or funding them.
Swaraj took pride in the close Bahrain-India relations, vowing her country’s support for the security and stability of the Kingdom and the region, wishing Bahrain constant progress and welfare.
