Bahrain parliament choses new committee

The Parliament on Tuesday chose the new committee members for the second year of the third term.The Committee on Foreign Affairs National Security and Defence will be chaired by Sawsan Taqawi. Abdulrahman Bumajid was elected the Deputy Chairman. The new members of the committee are Shaikh Jawad Bu Hussein, Osama Muhanna, Salman Sheikh, Abdul Hameed Meer and Isa Kooheji. Ali Al Derazi was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. The Vice Chairman of this Committee is Mahmoud Al Mahmoud. The other members are Hassan Bokhamas, Abdul Hakim Al Shammari, Abdul Halim Murad, Othman Sharif Mohammed Al Maadi and Lateefa Al Gaoud.The Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee Chairman is Ahmed Al Mulla. Ahmed Al Sa’ati was elected the Deputy Chairman. The members of the committee are Jassim Al-Saidi, Khamis Al Rumaihi, Ali Zayed, Dr Ali Ahmed, Ali Hassan, Ghanem Fadhul Al Buainain.Hassan Salem Dosari became of the Chairman of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee. Adnan Al Maliki was elected the Vice-Chairman. The other members are Ebtisam Al Hejres, Ahmed Qarratah, Ali Shamtoot, Issa Al-Qaedi, Mohammad Bogays.Adel Abdulrahman Al Assoomi was elected the Chairman of the Services Committee. Dr Jamal Saleh was elected the Vice Chairman, Khalid Al Maolood, Khalid, Khaled Adel Al Aal, Dr Sumayya Jowder, Abbas Al Maadi, Abdullah Al Huwail. After the committees were approved by the Parliament, the Members chose a team to prepare a response to the inaugural address by His Majesty the King. The members elected to do this areAhmed Al Mulla, Ahmad Sa’ati, Shaikh Jawad Bu Hussein, Sawsan Taqawi, Abbas Al Ma’adi, Abdul Hamid Meer, Othman Al Rayes, Ali Zayed.The new Executive Committee of the parliament includes Dr Somayya Al Jowder, Ghanem Fadhul Al Buainain, Ali Hassan and Issa Abdul-Jabbar Kooheji.
