Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa on Thursday met with Thomas O. Melia, the U.S. deputy assistant secretary of state for labor, human rights, and democracy affairs, who is currently on a visit to Manama.During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between Bahrain and the U.S., and means of boosting and bolstering them on all fronts, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak emphasized his country’s interest in boosting cooperation with the U.S. in human rights and benefiting from international expertise in this area.
