Bahrain urges Iran to stop interfering in its internal affairs

Bahrain's foreign minister Monday urged Iran to stop interference in his country's internal affairs.
In press statements, Minister Khalid bin Ahmed al Khalifa asserted Bahrain's hope that Tehran respects the sovereignty and independence of neighboring countries.
The continuation of such Iranian policies will force Bahrain to opt for measures suggested by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to impose more isolation on the Islamic republic, Khalifa added.
