His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today received the Lord Mayor of London Alderman Roger Gifford , in the presence of his son, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and Deputy Premier, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, as well as other senior officials. HRH the Crown Prince expressed satisfaction, of the progress of Bahraini-British relations, stressing countries\' keen interest to further develop bilateral ties, based on understanding and friendship. HRH Prince Salman said that the visit of the Lord Mayor of London to the Kingdom of Bahrain reflects the deep-rooted relations in all fields,, saying that it will contribute to reinforcing joint relations, and boosting economic and investment cooperation. He stressed Bahrain\'s keenness on increasing economic and investment opportunities, with the United Kingdom, and benefiting from investment systems, and facilities, provided by both countries in all sectors, particularly banking and finance.
