His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister has departed on a tour of India, Japan and Malaysia. His Royal Highness’ visit to India seeks to enhance business links, building on long standing engagement across several sectors of the economy, while also to paying tribute to the invaluable contribution of the Indian community to Bahrain’s society. In Japan, His Royal Highness will seek to support bilateral cooperation between the two countries, building on the successful visit of His Majesty the King to Japan last year, which focused on a number of political and economic areas of shared interest. In Malaysia, His Royal Highness will discuss opportunities for mutual cooperation between Bahrain and the host country. His Royal Highness is being accompanied by a delegation of senior officials and businessmen, including representatives from the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB). The EDB have arranged a series of business events in each of the countries, aimed at providing opportunities for business delegates to discuss areas for mutual cooperation and investment.
