Bahraini interior minister receives al-Asala bloc

Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa today received Al Asala bloc led by MP Abdulhalim Mourad and hailed their support for policemen’s sacrifices to protect Bahrain’s security and stability and enforce the rule of the law. The minister briefed MPs on the security situation and latest incidents which were addressed with maximum discipline, despite escalating violence in some parts of Bahrain. The MPs hailed the competence of policemen and procedures taken by the Interior Minister to support security and stability to confront threats to civil peace. They vowed their support to policemen in their national duty and pledged to give priority in the next phase to finish security-related legislations to enhance security and stability in Bahrain.
