The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the friendly United Kingdom's Secretary of State Mr. William Hague in London yesterday evening. H.E Foreign Minister expressed appreciation to Mr. Hague on the positive amicable attitudes of the United Kingdom and its constant support to the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressing delight towards the deep-rooted historic bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. Mr. William Hague praised the reform steps recently undertaken by the Kingdom, stressing that the dialogue approach is the best way to achieve the ambitions and aspirations of the Bahraini people, wishing prosperity and further development for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. The two Foreign Ministers discussed latest regional and international developments and the Middle East peace process, and reviewed intensive international efforts aimed to resolve the Syrian crisis as well. Topics on the agenda of the "Friends of Yemen Conference" which will be held on Thursday in the British capital, London, were also amongst points of discussion during the meeting.
