
Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs met this morning in his office with the Moroccan Minister In-charge of Public Service and Modernization of Administration, Mohamed Moubdi, where they discussed ways of reinforcing cooperation between the two countries in administration and civil service areas.Both sides also discussed ways to activate the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries in December 2013 regarding cooperation in areas of civil service, administrative reforms, eGovernment, training and capacities building.The meeting between both sides also hailed Bahrain’s participation in the works of the wise governance’s initiative in serving development in the Arab countries in cooperation with Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs lauded the sustainable growth of the relations between Bahrain and Morocco, and asserted the importance of reinforcing benefiting from exchanging expertise between the two countries at the level of spreading the governance culture.For his part, the Moroccan Minister expressed his aspiration to strengthen the joint work between the two countries, pointing out Bahrain’s experience in the area of developing the administrative systems.The Moroccan Minister asserted the keenness of Kingdom of Morocco to cooperate with Kingdom of Bahrain to develop their administrative capacities, and lay the foundations of the administrative development through work and sustainable reviewing of the successful experiences, the legislation and the modern systems.Both sides aimed at coping with the society’s development and the economy’s needs in both countries.The meeting was attended by Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed, President of Civil Service Bureau, Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, CEO of eGovernment, and Ahmed Rasheed Khatabi Ambassador of Kingdom of Morocco to Bahrain.
