
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Buainain met the Deputy Commissioner General of the United Nations' Relief and Work Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Margo Ellis.The meeting took place on the side-lines of the Second International Donors Conference in the State of Kuwait.The Minister praised the role of UNRWA in supporting Palestinian refugees and provision of various services in refugee camps, including education, health, relief assistance. He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain and in compliance with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa continues to provide all support to our Palestinian brethren.The UNRWA Deputy Commissioner General praised Bahrain's major role in providing material and moral assistance to our brethren the Palestinians led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa President of the Organization's Board of Trustees and its various services projects for the Palestinian people. The UNRWA's Deputy Commissioner General expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain's leadership, government and people for such unlimited support.The meeting was attended by RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed.
