
President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Dr. Abdul Aziz Hassan Abul received today at NIHR headquarters in Seef District French Ambassador to Bahrain Christian Testot. They discussed bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on human rights issues. The NIHR President briefed the French ambassador about the institution\'s role to boost human rights in Bahrain. On his part, the French ambassador underlined the key role played by NIHR to promote human rights and protect the rights of citizens and residents. He emphasised the need for cooperation between NIHR and the competent parties in France to foster human rights. The meeting was attended by NIHR Secretary General Advisor Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Farhan and Vice President and Head of the Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee Abdullah Ahmed Al Derazi.
