Bahraini PM praises strong Bahraini-Sri Lankan ties

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salamn Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today newly-appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain Raja Karura Mui-dyan-selage. HRH praised the advanced level of the Bahraini-Sri Lankan friendly relations, pointing out that his visit to Sri Lanka has contributed in consolidating bilateral relations, hailing joint coordination between the two countries at international gatherings. He affirmed Bahrain\'s keen interest to develop cooperation with Sri Lanka due to their advanced political and economic ties, expressing his aspiration for more collaboration as both countries have promising investment opportunities. HRH the Prime Minister also affirmed the importance of providing facilities for investors and entrepreneurs to establish joint projects, wishing the Sri Lankan Ambassador every success in performing his duties. For his part, the Sri Lankan Ambassador conveyed his country\'s President Mahinda Rajapaksa\'s greeting to HRH the Prime Minister, hailing HRH\'s keen interest to consolidate and enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He also pointed out Bahrain\'s ongoing development and modernization march on various levels, expressing his country\'s aspiration to consolidate relations with Bahrain in the fields of politics, economic and tourism.
