Many Turkish non-governmental organizations based in Macedonia along with political parties will stage a rally on June 14 in support of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan upon Taksim Gezi Park protests. Secretary General of Turkish Democratic Party of Macedonia Enver Huseyin told AA on Wednesday, expressing their concern over recent marginal actions and protests staged in several Turkish provinces justifying Taksim Gezi Park incidents, and protests against Istanbul Municipality\'s Taksim construction plans. Voicing their unrest upon the protests deviating from the original aim of environment protection and turning into a smear campaign targeting Turkish Premier Erdogan, Huseyin announced that they would stage a protest in Gotzivar on June 14 in support of Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan upon Taksim Gezi Park protests and to tell the whole world that they stood up for Erdogan. He also said they expected Turkish nationals living in Kosovo, Bulgaria and Albania as well as 80 thousand Turks in Macedonia to join the rally. Anadolu Agency will air a live broadcast from the rally, planned to take place after the Friday prayer.
