BDF chief of staff meets Japanese officer

Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al-Khalifa today met, at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel, Japanese Deputy Chief of Staff Major-General Goro Matsumura, on visit to Bahrain to attend the 9th Manama Dialogue2013 for regional security. The two sides discussed strong bilateral relations bonding Bahrain and Japan, particularly military coordination, in addition to current regional developments and issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by BDF Assistant chief of Staff for operations Major-General Dhiab Sager Al-Nuaimi, Royal Bahrain Air-force Commander Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, Royal Bahrain Navy Commander Brigadier-General Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa and Japanese Ambassador Shigeki Sumi.
