
Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today paid an inspection visit to a BDF unit in order to be assured about its preparedness.Upon arrival, the Commander-in-Chief was welcomed by the commander of the unit and a number of BDF senior officers.He was briefed on the unit's development plans over the past period, and inspected its equipment and military preparedness, affirming BDF's constant desire to provide its units with the latest and most modern military systems, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.He affirmed that HM the King's sound directives would be guiding principles of BDF's work, stressing that BDF will spare no efforts to implement HM the King's directives to rehabilitate national cadres and train them on the requirements of modern military technology, expressing pride in the BDF's affiliates' advanced level and dedication in the service of the homeland.He hailed officers’ hard-work and dedication as well as the loyal and devoted personnel who are defending the homeland and safeguarding its national achievements.He also praised the high morale of the unit's officers, paying tribute to all BDF affiliates for their constant readiness to assume their national duties.The BDF Commander-in-Chied was accompanied by the Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Major General Dheyab Saqer Al Nuaimi and a number of BDF officials.
