Ben Jaafar confers with European MP Gahler

National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar conferred on Friday with European MP Michael Gahler, who voiced European Union\'s will to support the democratic transition process in Tunisia and develop co-operation with NCA.\"The transition process requires hard work and a great deal of patience in the face of social problems,\" Gahler said, recalling the democratic transition experiences in Central Europe. For his part, Mr. Ben Jaafar stressed NCA members\' commitment to finish off the transition phase by the end of the year, and hold elections. He added that announcement of the final list of candidates for the Independent Higher Authority for the Elections (ISIE) will be carried out shortly.
