An explosion has killed at least 10 people, including the heads of Somalia’s Olympic committee and football association, in the capital Mogadishu, Press TV reports. Dozens of people were also injured in the blast when a bomber blew herself up inside Somalia’s National Theater in Mogadishu on Wednesday, witnesses told Press TV. The theater was hosting an event marking the first anniversary of Somali National Television. Senior government officials, including Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohammed Ali, were present at the event, but the premier is said to have escaped unhurt. "The explosion ripped through the crowd as the premier was delivering speech. Body parts were scattered all over the place, it was darkest moment of my life," Sahara Mohamed, one of the survivors, said. Police confirmed the death of Somali Football Federation chief Said Mohamed Nur and Somali Olympic Committee Chief Aden Yabarow Wish. Those injured included lawmakers, journalists and singers who attended the event. Police sources said the bomber was refused entry to the theater twice but found her way in mysteriously. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
