
Minister of Communication, Abdelkader Messahel, said Saturday in Constantine that "the achievements of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika in terms of good governance are facts that merit special mention." Messahel who was speaking at the regional radio of Constantine added that it is today "important to make an assessment and compare Algeria which suffered from terrorism with Algeria which lives today in stability through the civil harmony and the national reconciliation” initiated by the Head of state. Algeria which takes up the challenge of the stability through the governance of President Bouteflika and the People National Army "made great strides in its path to multi-sectoral development," said Minister who the national media to "promote these achievements of the citizens." Recalling the large number of radio channels broadcasting in Algeria, Messahel stated that the radio role is primarily serving "the service of citizens by transmitting accurate and credible information." Moreover, the minister urged the journalists to make of the information a thing of paramount importance and comment freely in order to "upgrade the public service up to the expectations of citizens."
