
Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev held talks here today with with his Croatian counterpart Ivo Josipovic who is currently visiting Sofia . Josipovic said that the talks dealt with economic developments in the area of South-Eastern Europe , and the importance of peace and stability in this region, through all its states becoming active members of the European Union with equal rights. He explained that the talks confirmed that Bulgaria and Croatia share a common position on the widening of the EU in South-Eastern Europe. For his part, Plevneliev called for the need to develop cooperation between the two countries in the sectors of culture , science and education, in addition to the continuation of the support of the economic, trade and investment sectors in all fields , especially energy and infrastructure.
