Butcher admits to chopping up girlfriend, feeding to vultures

A butcher allegedly admitted to killing his pregnant girlfriend, chopping up her body and feeding it to vultures, Spanish media reported. The seven-months pregnant woman, identified as Carolina C.C., had been missing for more than a month when her boyfriend, identified as Jose Miguel B.V., allegedly told police he was responsible for her death, the English-language website The Local.es reported Tuesday. Police arrested the butcher, 32, Thursday after he told them he killed the woman with a blow to the head, chopped up her body and dumped it at the La Riba de Saelices nature preserve in a pit used as a feeding spot for vultures, the Spanish news agency EFE reported. Neighbors of the woman in Cifuentes, a municipality of Guadalajara in Central Spain, reported her missing after they hadn\'t seen her for days, and police were suspicious because her boyfriend never contacted them about her disappearance.
