Turkey's state-run news agency says a police station at a town near the border with Syria has been hit by a car bomb. There was no immediate word of any casualties, abc news reported.
The Anadolu Agency said Wednesday that several ambulances have been sent to the scene in the town of Midyat, in southern Mardin province.
The attack comes a day after a car bomb hit a police vehicle in Istanbul, killing 11 people during the morning rush hour.
