China calls for political dialogue in Syria

A spokesman for China\'s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday called on all related parties in Syria to open a political dialogue soon, in order to come to a mutually acceptable transition plan.Spokesman Hong Lei made the remarks at a daily news briefing, noting that China has always considered a political solution as the only practical way out for Syria.Hong\'s comments came after Syria\'s opposition coalition elected Ghats Ditto as prime minister of the interim government on Tuesday.\"With a highly responsible attitude, all relevant sides should follow the consensus of the Action Group Geneva Communique for finally settling the issue peacefully, justly and appropriately,\" Hong said
