China called for trust-building steps on Friday as Iran and the world six major powers held a new round of talks here on Tehran\'s nuclear program. I hope the parties continue to work together and take concrete steps as early as possible to build trust with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and with each other\'s concerns to be taken into account,\" Ma Zhaoxu, assistant foreign minister of China who led the Chinese delegation, told reporters before heading into the talks. Representatives of Iran and the UN Security Council\'s five permanent members - the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China - plus Germany, known as P5+1, as well as the European Union (EU) started a new round of talks here today. Noting that the talks between Iran and the six powers have entered deep water, Ma said all relevant parties should work to consolidate the hard-won momentum for dialogue and safeguard peace and stability. He said that China has been adhering to an objective, fair and responsible position, and spares no efforts to promote the talks. \"We will continue to work with relevant parties to seek a political solution of the Iran nuclear issue,\" he said.
