China held its first comprehensive nuclear security emergency drill

China held its first comprehensive nuclear security emergency drill, to test and improve its security-incident response mechanism, according to the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.
Code-named "Fengbao-2016," the drill, which was neither scripted nor had a preplanned result, tested the effectiveness of the nuclear security system, according to China's (Xinhua) News Agency. .
Representatives from central government agencies, local governments and China National Nuclear Corp. observed the drill, the administration added.
