Clinton urges pressure on Israel, Palestinians for peace

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday urged Egypt as well as the United States, Russia, the United Nations and European Union to pressure the Palestinians and Israel to seek a peace deal. "Egypt, the United States, the Quartet, everyone must stand prepared to put pressure on both sides to try to move toward a settlement of the outstanding issues," Clinton said at a press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammed Amr.
