At least one died and nine others were wounded in a bomb attack launched by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) guerilla group in the southern province of Cauca, Colombia\'s national police Sunday said. The attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday when a group of men identified by police as FARC members, threw four home-made gas cylinder bombs from a vehicle to a settlement in the Piendamo municipality, police spokesman Luis Matinez said. All those wounded had been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and Cauca Governor Guillermo Gonzalez said the local government would provide immediate support and help to the families of the victims. The motive behind the attack was not yet clear but the assault is the third of its kind nationwide since FARC\'s top leader Guillermo Leon Saenz, also known as Alfonso Cano was killed by the country\'s armed forces last Friday. FARC is Colombia\'s largest rebel group and has been at war with the government since its establishment in 1964. The guerilla group on Saturday said that despite the death of its top commander, it would continue its guerrilla struggle and would not give in to the government\'s demand on surrendering its weapons.
